How to use cleansing oils in your skincare routine

I've recently added a cleansing oil into my skincare routine and I have been loving how well it works. I have normal to dry skin, so some cleaners can leave my skin feeling tight and my skin needs moisturizer instantly.

Usually when people here the words oil and face in the same sentence it's a big no no. But this cleansing oil from Palmers has been leaving my skin clear, hydrated, and removes all of my make-up even waterproof mascara!

Oil cleansers are used differently to regular cleansers so here are a few tips on how to use them:

1. Apply onto dry skin

Add a couple of pumps onto the palm of your hand and apply to face, rubbing in circular motions all over your face. This is safe to use on your eyes to remove eye make-up. Massage into skin for 30 seconds - 1 minute.

2. Add water

Run your hands under warm water and applying to face, this will turn the oil more milky and with lather slightly. Massage for a further 30 seconds.

3. Rinse

Rinse your face with warm water to remove all oil and make-up. If not all of your make-up is removed repeat steps above, usually all of my make-up is removed with one application. Pat face dry and follow up with the rest of your skincare routine.
