In The Kitchen With Mauve Over Matter: No Bake Protein Cookie Dough Balls

Hello hello! I've left it way too long without posting, it's been a busy few weeks with moving house and getting settled in, but now my blogging room is set up and I'm back...with food! 

You know when you're trying to stick to your healthy choices but then 3:00 PM hits and you need that sugar fix? Yeah that's me everyday.. now you can feed the need for all things sweet with this delicious healthy treat! Protein Cookie Dough Balls!

Okay, so usually I am SO skeptical about trying recipes that involve protein powder, because that is all I can ever taste, but these little beauties were SO delicious.. and they are so easy and simple to make.

So if you want to find out how to make my new favorite snack, keep reading!

You will need:

  • 1 Cup of Natural Nut Butter (I chose peanut butter, always buy one that is 100% nuts, no added sugar or salt,etc)
  • 1/2 Cup of Natural Honey
  • 1 Scoop of Protein Powder (I chose Chocolate Diesel Protein)
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 2 Cups of Oats (Not quick oats)
  • 1/2 Cup of chocolate chips

Makes approximately 20 Balls.

Optional Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds (For extra fiber)
  • Unsweetened coconut (For extra flavour)

Mix together all of your ingredients until completely blended, except your Oats, Chocolate Chips, Chia seeds and coconut. 

Now you can fold in your remaining ingredients!

Finally roll them up into bite size balls, this recipe made 20 balls. Place in the fridge to set for at least 10 minutes.. if you can wait that long!  

And they are ready to enjoy!  This recipe only took me 15 Minutes (including setting time in fridge!) I cannot explain how delicious these are for being so healthy! They are packed with whole ingredients, healthy fats and carbs, these are the macros:

Per 1 Ball:

  • Calories - 162 cal
  • Fat - 7.7g
  • Carbs - 18.8g
  • Protein - 6g
  • Fiber - 2.1g
