Date Night Make-Up with Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

I feel as though my Naked 3 Palette doesn't get enough love sometimes. So what better occasion to get some use out of it than Date Night. With a mixture of rose gold and mauve shades this palette definitely has a romantic feel.

To me the Naked Palettes are 100% worth the money ($64 CAD, ouch) but if these palettes are not budget friendly for you, you can absolutely get a dupe for an amazing price. Below I listed affordable dupes for the Naked 3 palette:

The brushes I chose to achieve this look were:
- Mac 234 se (fluffy brush for blending)
- Mac 235 se (flatter, great for packing on eyeshadow)
- Urban Decay Naked 3 Brush (good for detail)

To begin I wanted to neautralize and brighten my base, I took 'Strange' on my Mac 234 se and blended it all over my lid up to my brow bone, slowly building it up on my brow bone to highlight.

To build up depth within the crease I started out by taking 'Limit' on my Urban Decay Naked 3 Brush and blended that slightly higher than my crease heading up towards the brow bone. I then took 'Nooner' and purely concentrated this in my crease and outer corner not blending it outwards too much just because I wanted this shade to really enhance my crease. I also took both 'Limit' and 'Nooner' under my eye too.

Time for some shimmer. I took 'Dust' on my Mac 235 se and focused this shade purely on the centre on my eyelid and my inner corner or my eye, to really enhance and brighten the eyes.

Finishing up with eyeshadow I decided to add a little hint of 'Buzz' just next to where I had placed 'Dust' just for a little added shimmer.

For eyeliner I used my eyeliner waterproof pen from 'Essence'. This pen is amazing value for only $3 as it has very fine tip so it assists with easier application. I applied the liner thinly along my top lash line gradually bringing it out to a cat eye flick.

To add a little extra pop I used Mac Technakohl Liner in the shade 'Image Conscious' I just used this on my bottom lash and water line.

Since this is a date night look I wanted to add some simple natural looking lashes. These are from Quo and are in the number '803'. I find it easiest to apply my lashes looking down into a mirror using tweezers. Only apply a fine line of glue to the lashes and allow 30 seconds for the glue to go a little tacky, this helps for them to adhere better.

To finish the look I paired my eye make up with a contrasting orange lipgloss. I used The Body Shop's 'Honey Nectar' in the shade 'Honey Bunch'. This lipgloss really does feel Nectar on your lips, and this is perfect if you don't like a bold lip, this is a little more subtle and wearable.

Have you tried the Naked 3 Palette? Would you wear this make up look? Have you tried any of the other products I featured?
